routines and ritualisation

after i decided to switch to new way of working (8weeks), i continue thinking about why some things work for me, and other not. why i was able to pull some projects but completely fail in others.

and i think i have an answer for that: routine. everything that i was able to make into routine has stuck or succeeded. my sunday sauna, gym, bike trips, food planning, reading before sleep, and some projects, which i was able to routinize, because i knew which rituals i should make. recently we started to work with my friend on a project, and we keep it for a year already. and only thing that we did was to plan a call every other Thursday.

it brings me to the point that I'm bad with goals but good with directions. and i should formulate my wishes in terms of rituals/routine not in terms of goals. so not everything from productivity toolbox will work for me.

i was able to fully unpack this while i was talking to claude and gemini to try to map myself into mbti model just for fun, but got much more in return.

now i hope that it will give me more conscious decision making and understanding how i can actually achieve what i want and plan, and not feel bad of all that I wanted but never did. now, i've got a key.
